Day 01 : Abroad - Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Meet and assistance on arrival and transfer from airport to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi
Full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in Asia), Red Fort (built between 1639-48 by the Shah Jahan, the creator of the Taj Mahal), the Rajghat (the cremation site of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi) and Qutab Minar (72m high), the most perfect of towers of the Persian world. The drive through New Delhi includes the Embassy area (Diplomatic Enclave), government buildings, India Gate, Birla Temple, Connaught Place and past Safdarjang's Tomb (1753 AD).

Day 03 : Delhi - Agra (205kms)
Morning drive to Agra en route visiting Akbar's stunning mausoleum at Sikandra. Continue to Agra. Upon arrival check into Hotel Taj View / Hotel Amar Vilas for one night.

Afternoon visit the Red Fort, Itimad-ud-Daulah, a forerunner of the Taj Mahal, with beautiful proportions. Return in time for sunset at the breathtaking Taj Mahal.

Day 04 : Agra - Gwalior (118kms)
Morning drive to Gwalior and stay one night at the Usha Kiran Palace, the Maharaja's former guesthouse. Visit Gwalior's mighty hilltop fort and see the exquisite sandstone screen-work on the tomb of Mohammed Ghaus II.

Day 05 : Gwalior - Orchha (120 Kms)
Morning drive to Datia, boasting one of the finest seven-storied palaces in Bundelkhand. Continue to Orchha, stranding the banks of the Betwa River. Stay two nights at the Sheesh Mahal / Betwa Cottages / Orchha Resorts.

Day 06 : Orchha
The medieval citadel of Orchha is today a quiet village, with beautiful riverside temples and virtually no sign of modernity. Afternoon excursion to Jhansi to visit the Jhansi Fort. Overnight at the hotel

Morning train to Bhopal and transfer to the Jehan Numa Hotel for two nights.

Day 08 : Sanchi
Morning tour of Bhopal, including the Taj - Ul - Masjid, one of India's largest mosques, the Jama Masjid and the smaller Moti Masjid. This afternoon drive to Sanchi, one of the most revered Buddhist arts centres in the world, dating back to the reign of Emperor Ahoka in the 3rd century BC. Its monuments are considered to be some of the best preserved in the world.
Day 09 : Bhopal - Mandu (286 Kms)
Morning drive to Indore and, after lunch, continue driving through the heart of Madhya Pradesh to Mandu for 2 nights at the charming Jhira Bagh Palace.

Day 10 : Mandu
Situated on a plateau overlooking the Narmada River, Mandu was once known as "the Citadel of Joy". The pleasure resort of the Malwa rulers for centuries, it was one of the largest fortified cities on the world. Explore Mandu today.

Day 11 : Mandu- Dungarpur (130 Kms)
Morning drive to Dungarpur in the southwestern reaches of the Aravalli Hills. Stay two nights at the Udai Bilas Palace with its stunning lakeside position.

Day 12 : Dungarpur
Explore the palace with its extraordinary architectural styles. Drive up to the old fort, which boasts one of the most superb collections of frescoes to be found in India

Day 13 : Dungarpur - Udaipur (120kms)
Morning drive to Udaipur for two nights at the Lake Palace / Shiv Niwas Palace. Surrounded by lakes and the Aravalli Hills, Udaipur is one of the most picturesque cities in Rajasthan. Afternoon at leisure.

RanakpurDay 14 : Kumbalgarh & Ranakpur
Morning excursion to Kumbalgarh, a massive hilltop fort surrounded by walls and comprising a maze of temples and palaces. After lunch at the Aodhi Hotel, visit some of the most impressive temples in all India; the Jain Temples of Ranakpur.

Day 15 : Udaipur - Jaipur
Morning exploration of Udaipur, visiting Jagdish Temple and the magnificent City Palace. Afternoon flight to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Stay two nights at the Rambagh Palace or at the luxurious Raj Vilas, on the outskirts of the city.

Day 16 : Jaipur
Morning visit Amber fort, pausing en route to see the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), which is really just an elaborate façade. Proceed on to one of Rajasthan's greatest forts, Amber, where you will ascend to the fort on elephant back and visit the myriad of marble palaces. In the afternoon explore the city's bazaars and visit the City Palace and the Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 17 : Jaipur - Delhi (257kms)
Morning drive to the delightful Neemrana Fort. After lunch and time exploring this wonderful, rambling place, continue to Delhi in time to board flight for next destination.
